Academic Digital Source Center (A-DRC) The Office of Distance Education and Learning Technologies (ODELT) invites you to the A-DRC, your one-stop shop for digital resources designed to empower you when digitizing your curriculum. The A-DRC was created in response to faculty requests for centralized resources pertinent to academic instructions. This resource center, listed as " A-DRC Academic Digital Resource Center " in your Blackboard course list, includes: a catalog of resources on a variety of pedagogical and technical topics, on-demand training videos and how-to guides, discussion community to support interdisciplinary collaboration and foster idea sharing, and a schedule of professional development opportunities available throughout the academic year. Specifically, faculty can find resources on the versatility of the Grade Center, options for providing the course syllabus, and communication tools to engagement and empower students available with our learning management system. As we head into the new semester, we’ll be rolling out some exciting updates that will enhance your experience with Blackboard Learn. These updates – featuring an updated look and feel and a better mobile experience - will be available starting May 15, 2019. Here are some of the key improvements that you can expect to see: Modern Look & Feel : With updated colors, fonts, and spacing, you’ll notice a more modern and visually appealing look and feel. The new responsive design will improve accessibility of the online course user interface. Consistency Across Your Devices : Expect a more uniform experience across all your devices, making it easier for you to switch from your laptop or computer to your phone or tablet. Please note that with this update, course themes will no longer be supported to further enhance consistency across courses for students. A Better Mobile Experience : With more tools and features optimized for your mobile browser, it’ll be easier for you to complete activities on-the-go from your phone or tablet. And, for quick and easy access to your courses, download the Blackboard Instructor app or Blackboard app for students, available for iOS, Android and Windows devices.
